  • NARRATIVE

Alistair must collect, moisten, toast the barley, and mix the sprouts with the water to create the "water of life," as the Gaelic name of whisky means. Will mark a considerable time to harvest the barley without exceeding the temperature of the roasting of the germ and the final mixture, adding one more difficulty according to the player's level.

LEVEL1

The game starts on the slopes of the most famous mountain in Scotland, Ben Navis, where barley grows to create whisky. The player must collect the harvest in a maximum time indicated so that it does not rot with the rainwater always threatening at the top of the mountains and the cows (Scottish Hairy coo) wanting to eat the barley.

LEVEL2

In the second level, the player must row from one lake to another in Loch Ness to collect barley. His main enemy in this level is Nessy who advances with every X number of barley the player collects to eat.

LEVEL3

In the third level, the still room, the player must collect the sacks of barley from the oven and put them in the still to be distilled along with the water. The temperature of the oven increases and it cannot exceed 80*C so that the grain does not burn. The player runs from the oven to the still to deposit the grain.

  • START MENU

I have designed the start menu of the game Following the chosen design aesthetic of dark, humid atmospheres with dark and muted colours. The idea was to generate a room of whisky barrels inside the distillery in Blender, with a side window through which a pitiful light enters and leaves the room in semi-darkness with a fog atmosphere (photoshop).
